I recently bought a older walker female off here to get my pups straightened out she is a registered dog I have all the papers she was a wdfw working dog and is 8 years old hunts good but she barks in the box a lot and barks on the rack even if there is nothing there I always turn her down just in case but she usually just starts trying to road...can you offer any tips for me on trying to break her of this or is just something old dogs do when they get a new handler I'm new at this so any advice would be great thanks...

Sounds like she was road hunted previously. she might not like to rig? sometimes a dummy collar will get rid of the babbling

just know that some dogs will take advantage of a new owner and see what they can get away with especially if she was used to wearing a shock collar and now your not using one. Make sure she knows who the boss is and that there is certain things that you are not going to put up with.

If u bought her from shelton Washington i got the two year old and the reason she barks is they have Always roaded never been on the rig but theres few ways to get it to stop barking i Always used a light setting on the shock collar
