I went out by my self yesterday. Put Drip on 3 diffiernt tracks I found all frozen in the snow. Drip ran one about a mile silent and I cought him before he went in a canyon, The rest were to old and he had a hard time figuring it out so he went back in the box.
He rigged a rutting buck the daybefore and got shocked. And hasent openend on the hood since and I was starten to think I scared him from opening on the hood. Any way I was driving up this old road that follows a creek canyon, and Drip BLOWS up screaming. He had the chain on the hood so tight I coudent get it off for a couple secends. I turn him loose hes flying opening on track like its a hot race.
I get my other blue dog Johnny off the top of the box and hes trying to go over the cab of the truck. I get the walker out of the box and their off. All opening like crazy.
The bear ran out of the timber in the creek and up the side of this Mountain. Went above the timber line into the snow coudnt get up this steep cliff part. Turned came back down the Mountain with with dogs on his ass, oh ya the walker was leading the pack now. Went down the creek a half mile or so, crossed the road and treed about 50 yards above the road. All 3 made the tree and I shot the bear with a Thompsen center contender pistel in 30-30 barrel. One shot one kill.
