I have seen Ottesons dogs and liked them. I know a few guys that have had great luck with them. One thing I can say from first hand experience is Otteson isn't selling pups to turn a quick buck. He has a lot of pride in the dogs he is working and selling.

As far as comparing them to Kemp dogs, You should go take a look at both lines and decide what you think would work best for you. I have spent quite a bit of time with some Kemp dogs and have liked them very much. I also really liked what I have seen out of Ottesons dogs. Go check them out.

The original walker cross running dogs that mike and brent have/had came from the same source/breeding.The plotts obviously a different story.Comparing appples to apples I've seen good ones come from both, some on the very impressive end some just dogs.I think both guys try to better their breeding program on a regular basis, talking with both of them they seem a little hard to please, which makes them allways trying for something better.Sometimes efforts don't have the reward one hopes for,as long as a guy doesn't keep repeating something that doesn't work, you can't ding him for trying.
Some of Mike's crosses seem to work better than other for bobcat.

Instead of editing the post above,I thought I would make a correction.I was wrong about the walker/running dog crosses,Brent himself called me and said that it was not so,for this I appologize for.The mentioining of the plotts, meant they came from somewhere. The comment on sometimes the reward not being what you wanted was directed to the fella that pm'd me about the some goood some bad from Kemp dogs.I still believe both these guys try for better and better dogs everytime they make a new cross.
