First dry ground cat ( Kinda cheated)

Well the other night my brother inlaw gives me a call telling me he had just seen a cat...... Well atleast he was about 80% sure it was a cat lol and he gave me directions to where it was. Well the weather here has not been the best for cat hunting and if anyone knows central oregon then you know how our ground is as far as holding scent. I thought what the hell why not. All the old houndsmen around here tell me that dry grounding cats in central oregon is not a likely situation but i had to figure this out on my own 
. Well i loaded the dog box in the pickup and the dogs along with the wife and kids, we headed to town got gas and then headed out to where he saw the cat. When we get to where he said he had seen the cat i drop the dogs and we start walking around. It takes about 5 minutes and the dogs hit the track and the way they were moving it i thought they had just jumped a deer or yote and my night had just went from lets see if we can do this to here we go lol. Well they ran about 300 yds and treed and i thought it was a fluke until i went in and found this
The entire family was able to get in there to the tree and i couldnt have been happier!!!!!!! I have been getting extrememly lucky thus far this year including treeing one cat and on the way to that tree finding another track and then putting the dogs on it on the way out of the first tree and they ran 75 yds and put another up.......... Like i said LUCKY!
