Yes there are. I believe Clell's daughters name is Rose. Hell it might be Dale's daughter I'm really not sure. Benny G. could likely help you get in contact. If not let me know and I can make a phone call and get her number. Good luck and that's neat of you to think of them instead of just yourself. Hats off to you!

Shorty is right. Clell's step daughter, Rose is still alive and well. I believe that Dale's niece that he lived with in Tucson is still alive, but I would have to look into that to be sure. Feel free to call me. Cell #575/626/1101

Bow,
You were right about the letters! This one is outstanding. Anyone that has ANY interest at all concerning the history of hunting big game with hounds would love to read these.
I have not been able to make the connections with Rose yet, but I have located an address and phone number for a son of the sister of the Lee Brothers. I will stay in touch and keep you updated. This stuff is cool!

Clell's son is living here in Tucson and Rose is living in Tombstone. If you can give me a phone number I can pass it on to him.
Thanks,

Very interesting letter to the famous Bill Green of Vermont. I think Benny will agree with me but the more we travel around the southwest and dig into the family histories of the greatest strains of bare ground lion dogs it seems so many times we end right back up at the Lee Brothers place.

that's cool stuff ... vintage. That first paragraph is interesting ... shows how far we've come with communication.
Thanks for sharing.
