bear hound mix?????

hello everyone dont know if this has been posted before just wondering if anyone has ever used a hound pitbull mix for bear hunting and how they did have the opurtunity to get one and wanted to know if it was worth a try thanks everyone

The black & white one in the picture was 3/4 walker 1/4 pitt. only had one bear her whole life stay on the ground with her and fight and I think it was just to big & old to climb. in her life I shot two bears point blank range that had her dead to right one being the old bear and the one in the picture that my Dad made a bad shot on as it was coming out of the tree and she sliped her collar and balled up on it. great little bear dog and good locate dog on cat

my uncle is a very known houndsmen here, his best bear dog was bonnie, a pit hound mix not sure how much but i was gonna get a pup out o her but bonnie and my other uncles hound trixie got killed by wolves bear hunting in idaho.. i think a little bit o pit in it but not alot would be pretty good. i'm not a plott fan but i wanna try to do a pit plott mix. think they'd have a lot o gritt and would be nice bay dogs.
