bears moving?

i had a bear coming to a bait pile but i haven't seen anything lately. have they holed up or what? i live on the east coast of nc. i don't know much about bears, obvioously.

My experience is that in states that do not allow baiting such as here in west virginia, bears have a very big home range. They will find your bait pile and not leave until it's gone, then you may never see them again. To keep bears out of your deer set up is to shy away from any sweet smelling attractants or feed. I heard the bears can get pretty big where you are at.
