Zero to snowed out..

Post by Buddyw »

I Think Sean said it first.. but I like that term..

This weekend we were watching the Weather and they were calling for a couple days of 1-3 inches of snow at the end of the weekend. We thought it would be perfect we'll haul up the trailer before the snow comes in.. Most people would have to head in to work Monday and we might have some easy conditions..

Woke up the the Sunday to about 8-9 inches on the ground 8) ... a little more than we were expecting but nothing to scare us yet.. It was Stormy and windy We didn't figure anything was moving yet, but we checked anyways. Supposed to be another 1-3 Inches Sunday night that on Monday morning was actually another 5-7 inches. We figured better get the trailer out and head back.. But after just one quick little hunt.. :) Chased a Nice Cat that was covering some ground, a couple hours and down into some bad brushed in country, before we pulled the dogs off and headed out. We ended up hauling out on top of all the snowmobile tracks heading up.

I Sure wish I had a Nice size bobcat to finish off the story with but was not in the cards this time.

This photo was taken on the bottom of the mountain, (Once I realized we were going to make it out and I got a little comfortable stopping to snap a photo.. )

Last night I checked the weather.
Monday night forecast another 4-8 inches,
tues. 6-10 inches,
tues night 7-11 inches
And tomorrow weds 14-20 inches

I suck at math but I think That's allot of snow.

Not any better but different here in Michigan. Lost most to all our snow in the lower penisula last night to a thunder storm. Yes, thunder-lightning and a bunch of rain. Mother nature is a fical woman. lol
