I'm going to try something different with the Classified section.

There will not be discussion on the Classified sections. A couple reasons for this change.

We'll see how it works out.

But Lot's of people complain that their Advertisement is ruined Becasue someone jumps on it and gives his two cents.

There are some that abuse and keep their Ads on the top by continously Replying and Bumping the topic.


If you list an Advertisement It's very important that you give all the information correct, Because The only way to contact you is with PM messages and Once you answer the same question 50 times maybe it will be more important to list things like Where your from and Your phone number.

We'll give this a shot and see how it works.

I find this change funny, and the people who sell a lot of things are going to be the angry ones. The only problem i see is the puppy pushers and dog peddlers are going to have an easier time unloading there crap on the unsuspecting. Have you thought about what you are going to do when people just keep on making there ad up over and over again to keep it at the top?

I like it. Its always bothered me that people hi-jack a classified for whatever reason they have. The fact that it might make people post all the info. so it can be screene pretty fast is also a plus. Good job.

i like the set up. i dont see why deals cant be delt with over personal messages

the only problem i see is dip shits filling your pms with dumb questions that are self explainitory like is that 8 month old dog broke is it a finished rig dog ex. no matter how plain the ad is your still going to deal with the dip shit factor

Liked it better the other way, for what its worth.

I think its going to be a great way to do it Buddy. Atleast 1/2 the ads dont have the info in them they should and I think most people are doing them like that to keep bumping thier ads up top when they answer.

I like the change.

1 - if you are SERIOUS about selling something, you will have all your poop in a group and make sure all your contact information is in there.

2 - If you are SERIOUS about buying something, you will call the person and not waste their time with stupid questions.

If you read the new rules Buddy put up he thought about that as well. I think this will keep the BS down atleast in the Calssified area. As for the p.o.s. dog jockeys we will all need to help eachother out and keep the members upto date using the other areas for that. I would think if we had known dog jockeys on here we could push to get them removed from the site.

i like the change . i sell a dog ever now and then off the ethd site and thats the way it's run . i just put all my info in ad with my phone # and a note to call me on it . when they pm me on the site i pm them my phone # AGAIN and tell them to call me . i don't talk dog sellin on the computer and when they call i get a good idea what i'm talkin to .and wether i;ll even sell em a dog , so i see no problem with it .

Some good and some bad Ideas here .The bad is that known bad actors can easily take advantage of the new houndsmen .If a sellers full of bs he should be called on it . There are things most houndsmen see at once that new guys miss .Examples 1500 with trial 500 off the chain.Or no trial but i have video of him on the tree .Or the gang style advertiseing where a guy puts his dog up for sale and all his buddys post how great it is .There are many more
All the other ideas sound fine just saying

Easy fix is the ones who are "taking advantage" is just make another forum available with reviews of the people who have sold items.
