? about night hunting

I was just wondering since i have been reading and reading and it is not real clear on the California Dept. of Fish & Game web sight if you could hunt coyote's at night with hounds?

Nongame mammals can be taken whenever. Day or night as long as your not in a area that only allows day hunting. There's a section in the regulation handbook, also found online at the bottom right of the regulations page that says "Related Topics" under the Alerts section...It won't let me copy and paste on my phone..but its there. Chapter 6 Sec 474. "Hours of taking"
