cuss them and start making circles to get it started again. most the time u can tell what happened by looking at the blowdowns and find where the cat jumped onto another one then hit the ground again. useually by the time you get it started again it has already done this 5 more times and u will never catch it but if u can teach your dogs to circle out 50 ft or more before treeing they will pick up the cat where it came off the blow down . that is why alot of people that hunt cats cross running dogs into the pack , they will hunt out farther than your average treedog. jmo

50 yards or 50 ft ?? If 50 yards more then likely that's the problem

How would 50 feet or 50 yards make a difference?
