Well it looks like we'll be doing alot of hunting over the snow this spring. I am soooooooo looking forward to hiking the hills with that wonderfull hard crusted snow. You guys know what I'm talking about. The snow that in the morning you can walk on or even ride your wheeler over but when noon time comes your stuck, walking on waste high snow, not covering but a yard an hour just to make it to the top and watch the beautiful sight of your hounds running a damn elk across the hill side. I can't wait!!!!!! I must like it. I'm counting the days. How about you fellas?

BH77 why don't you show that little bear you killed last year to get the blood pumping , you know the one with a 21 11/16th inch ( true dried out measurement there ) skull .

Come on Smiley buddy. You know I'm not a bragger. Just with my buddies. Not only that but that is not an official measurement yet for the record. I won't say anything until it's in paper.

Bearclaw we both know not to expect anything. Whether or not it's a swamp donkey I'm still gonna be happy up on top of a hill buying donuts for fifty bucks a piece while you and Billy are giving me a hard time. Can't wait man.

Can't believe you guys are really looking foward to Swamp donkey races, That won't get em in shape, I'm hopin to run a few coyotes into the next county first. I'll save the donkey races for when they are sore.

It is March 28th and they are forecasting 4-6 inches of fresh snow in N.Idaho tonight. I am so excited to be able to bear hunt off my sled ( yeah right ) in may. Let's all start hoping for sunshine and 70's for all of april.

I live just about an hour south of you and I'm not sure if its 70 all April if I'll be able to get into where I like to bear hunt in the beginning of may. I usually go hunt some of the backcountry in april where it opens early but that aint going to happen this year

Hey Kyle D7, I'm going to be up that this spring. My buddy who lives up there is feed lotting some animals and he has some long beards hitting his feed bunks dailey. Let me know if you neeed a tag along one day. We plan on taking some dogs from a friend of mine on some test runs either up just south of Worley or northeast of Moscow.

It's been snowing here too. Drove through swan valley and it looks like it's still January up there. I think there's gonna be quite a few "we got stuck stories" from opening day through about the middle of July

Two weeks two days and counting. So are we gonna set up another bait at the one spot in that area in unit 98765789 Bearclaw?

Man is there still alot of snow here too. I went out yesterday and rode the snow machine to some of my bait spots and there is 4 feet of powdery snow there. It's going to be late this year
