This post is a public thank you to the Clays. After a very enjoyable phone visit with Curry & his Dad, one thing I/m very conviced of is they are hunting hounds because they love to hunt & not motivated by any financial gain. Took only a short visit with Curry/s DAD to realize that he truely loves those fine hounds he has been breeding for 52 years. I commend him not many can say they have bred thier own line of hound& certainly not for that long. Also realize that Curry writes on this site to try to help young hunters who are looking for help with training cat dogs. There will always be hunters with different opinions on hounds. But the important thing is , we can view hounds different, but, in the end important to unite. There are enought people who would like to end our hunting. Also would like to think David for being the person who brought Mckenzie River Banjo to Oregon. Numerous in this area may have never enjoyed what banjo added to our hounds if David had not made that effort. If the Clay,s or David ever get to Powers Oregon you are welcome to stop in, would be my pleasure. H ave never meant to make lite of David,s our anyones post. Some like David & Curry are so better educated than I, it/s difficult for me follow thier post. Sincerity Al Baldwin

Dad and I sure enjoyed the visit last night. I hated to tell you that I would have to call you back, but a HOUND SCREANING Cat Race made talking on the Phone hard.

We look forward to many more talks...the nice thing about this Forum is that Folks get to listen in!
