my puup gt salmon poisoning ,gt real sick.now he is healthy again....well kinda..he EATS SHIT...NT JOKING.an dnt tell me to feed him.he gets fed good food. its bad.go out to were he is tied out.no poop nt for a mile.he walks past other dogs shit, slurps it up. i dnt get it.im done with him, i wont owne a shit eating dog i dnt care how much i payed for him...............any ideas why he does this?

1] Pick up and dispose of the feces in your yard so there is nothing for him to eat, don't walk him where other dogs have evacuated their bowels.
2] Pups do that......they grow out of it. Patience.

If the shit eater is any good of a hound ill take him. Then i wouldn't have to clean my kennel so much.

Normal in some cases,but 99%of the time they're lacking a mineral[probably got depleted when he got salmoned]get some vitamin/mineral tablets,like pet tabs.By the time the bottle is used up you should see this go away.

I bought some so called "good dog food" and all my dogs were eating their shit. Went back to my old food and shit eating was gone..

I would try this first. If it keeps eating shit then get you a bottle of extemely hot hotsauce and dose up all the turds with it. After he burns the hell out of his mouth a few times he'll quit going for it. Same thing for dogs that chew. When my dogs beg for my food I'll give them a Jalapeno or chile. They learn pretty fast thats not something they want.
