My question is when you buy a pup that's said to be registered, when do you expect to get the papers ? Just wondering everyone's opinion .

It usually takes 3-5 wks to get UKC papers back. If you buy a pup when it's 6 wks old you may or may not get the papers at the time of sale. Like Halfbreed said, it also depends on how long the breeder waits after the pups are born before he sends the papers off. Some breeders wait till the pups are 2 wks old before sending in the papers just to make sure their all going to live.

I am in the middle of re learning something I already know. Don't take a pup without papers in hand . Or in my case four of them. Unless its someone. You truly trust. Two things I will always live by from this mistake on nothing leaves my place without cash in hand and don't take a pup without the papers.

Yep, never buy, take or sell a pup without papers. I send in the litter apps at 1 week old. That gives UKC 7 weeks to get them back to you before they leave at 8 weeks. I've never had them take more than 5 wks to get me anything back. Usually it takes them less than 2 wks and I live a LONG ways from MI. I've waited one time to send in an App, and I wouldn't let anyone come get ther pups until I got the papers back (they were 9 wks old then)

well the only thing i really see about the garranty that i don't like is the dna and performance pakage and if he's willing to reimburse you for that then it don't look to outta line . i'd ask them about that part of it . but if they expect you tp put out the money for it above and beyond the garrenty then i don't like it .
