I bought a new battery for one of my dc30s, installed and charged it, it will now only charge to two bars on the battery icon on the astro? The old weak battery still charged to all four icons. Have had other collars that would only charge to two icons and I either cleaned the charging ports off good and/or unhooked battery for a day(then reconnect) and it usually fixed the issue.(doesn't help with this one)

The unit and collars are updated, the battery is an 'aftermarket', not the Garmin brand.(I know, I get what I pay for ......)

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what you did to fix it.

That is what commonly happens with the after market batteries. No worries though. After several discharges they will read correctly. At least all that I have seen have done so.

Steve, hopefully it ends up charging fully like you said.

Hopefully, half price battery doesn't = half the performance...

Thanks guys, like you said, it showed full charge after a few charges.
