That's where I got my start tracker, that is hunting the Book Cliffs for bears and lions.

Nice bear! I like the color and face combo. I was talking to the biologist for the books on sunday and said he saw a big Boar out last Thursday so they must be on the move down there!

That Bear had got into a Porcupine and had been rubbing his face 2 get the quills out. Thats why he looked that way.

A little to hungry this spring I guess. Is this the only bear sign you saw down there? Other than the clear out what's the story? long run short run strike or did you find the track?
