It all depends on what your pack looks like before the pups. How many dogs, are they all trash broke. Are they self sufficient hunters. If you have good dogs to help you it's not hard.

Can not say it enough if you are just getting started in the hound world or have just been in it for a short time ONE pup is enough at one time!!! Ask yourself what can two pups do for you that one cant do. jmo Andy

I have 2 finished hounds. That catch there own game just fine. I have just never trained more than one hound so I was just seeing if it's a lot more traing or not. Thanks

It has a lot to do with the pups personality. I've started 2 pups at one time before but it was certainly harder to do than just starting 1. I'm trying to start 3 pups this summer and it's been a tough task because they all have differant personalities and it's caused me to take differant steps with each one. What I try with one, may not work with the others. I don't know if this makes any sense or not.

You can do two easily, but need to stay on them and hunt them hard.
