say all that happens and you find a game warden at the tree with your dogs. Yeah your probably going to get a ticket. How can you get a ticket if you leash up and leave and no one see's you?

true, I was wondering more after the fact, say someone you told tells a warden or someone on houndsmen. but gotcha gotcha, if a tree falls in the woods.

You can count on getting a ticket, years ago my father in-law had two dogs trailing a bear down a canyon, he let his two young dogs out that were in the truck to clean out, loaded them back up in the truck and drove down the road to listen off the next point, while there a game warden drove up and asked about the dog tracks in the road a 1/2 mile back he told him just what he had done and then the warden started writting, my mother in-law had her bear tag so the 2 dogs on the bear were good but the 2 young dogs were a violation, with F&G officers like this, if SB 1221 pass's don't think that one of them won't be shooting somebodies dog!
