Well about a week and half ago I made a trip up to sweet home Oregon to buy a new hunting Rig, unfortunately Kevin Blankenship was out of town but I got to meet his family, whom is must say were wonderful people. I enjoyed the drive up there as me and my father in law saw plenty of deer 1 buck in a 22 hour day (good enough for me) and lots of other entertaining things. After I left Kevin's house we went and chatted with Johnny young, he was excited to show us his two litters of pups and the rest of his dogs(he's got a lot). He's got some fine looking dogs and some great stories to go along. He offered us to stay if we were to tired but we pushed on to Portland and east and picked up a black cur named squaw, to haul to Sacramento, from Kevin Palmer another good guy, he's looking for a finished strike to tree bear dog if anyone's got one btw. After that we headed home father in law in the Jeep Cherokee and me in my newly acquired Suzuki Sidekick and headed back to Redding,Ca. After another entertaining many hour drive we got home in the early morning. I slept for a couple hours and headed to my home near Sacramento,ca. I'm very please with the people I've met and look forward to hunting with Mr. Young and Blankenship in the future.
