Theres some real good info on here I don't know if the west coast cat's run different then east coast I know these guys over here catch a lot of cats with dogs ranging from walkers, english, black and tans, redbones even a jagd terrier. lol Keep looking back through the bobcat threads and you'll find good stuff about how to find bobcats to run and there has been a lot of good cat dogs and their pups for sale lately so make sure you check the classifeds. Or pm some of the cat hunters on here for their number to chat i'm sure they wouldn't mind.

From what I understand you wanna fast dog, one that doesn't straddle the track but can run it with his/her head up as much as it can, a dog that can quickly recover if a loss is made, one that hunts our a circle around a tree that a cat jumped out of in order to find the track again. Some people say you wanna a semi quiet or tight mouth dog that can get the catch jumped. A dog that puts pressure on the cat seems to be the most important can't just bark at it but get it pressured up a tree and stay there. I know some guys over here that are pretty well known have dogs for sale and or pups. Some guys a know who run cat's are the turners, johhny young. I'm sure if you message unreal on here coastalrangecathunter, dadsdog boy they all have phenominal information on bobcat hunting, me myself no zero lol only what I read.
