dog tracks on astro 220

I am having an issue with a dc30 or my astro 220. I erase my previous dog tracks at the start of each hunt. All my dc30s show the tracks of where they have been on the current hunt except one. It shows a straight line from where the collar was turned on to where the dogs current location. Does anyone know of a way to fix this ?
