I posted this topic because most of us love hunting even with the risks of loosing extremeties, breaking bones, and many other painfull experiences.

Sure, I'll show you my scars......
Besides the usual bumps, bruises, scaps, and sprains, a couple memorable ones was a deer antler up under my knee cap from dragging out a deer. Frost bit scars on both ears from trying to catch bobcats when it's -30. A concussion from a snowmobile accident while lion hunting that left me in La La land for a couple of days. But most painful, a caved in rib cage from a buddy's snowmobile ski.
worst injurys ?

Tore cartilege in my knee while going down one of the steepest draws in the Bighorns in 2005. I continued to hunt on it with a knee brace until the season ended 3 weeks later. Was useless for 3 months after that. In 2006 I pulled my hip out in 2006 breaking through thigh deep snow. That is what did me in and made me hang up my leashes. Knee and hip are okay now if I do not push it, but there is no way I can ever do what I did all those years I was hunting 3 to 4 times a week year round in the mountains. Now it is just summertime light hikes.

So far worst has been sore muscles and feet along with the typical cuts and bruises...but I haven't been hunting that long!
