Been countin down since 125 now its here and its still rainin. Went way up high and no white stuff to speak of. Well it will keep quite a few home but the cats are still out there. Kinda dampens the bobcat huntin. I hear of the folks in washington treein bobbers without it and in the rain guess I better find some better dogs. Lions can do just fine without snow but the lil cats pose more of a challenge. Any of yall plan on huntin today? I hear Eureka has snow but flathead and lincoln county are pretty much bare ground. Sure be nice to see some white stuff on the ground.

Just be happy you are getting rain! No rain to speak of for months here. We are at less than half our normal rain for for the year. I love the morning after a rain, scent conditions are great and everything the dogs pick up is going to be fresh. A good rain wipes the slate clean so dogs are not trying to trail days old stuff.

Send some of that rain to Kansas.. dryer than a popcorn fart.. tracking terrible.. only good track we have had went out over a pasture then popped over a hill into oak leaves in the timber--- end of race.. walking in the leaves is like walking on popcorn.

I thought bobcat hunting was illegal in Washington. Maybe I'll move back. Cats can certainly be caught in the rain.
