The sad part about that guy is he used national geographic to gain access to alot of other wise closed off private propety. Then took alot of "friends" and killed alot of cats. He himself over killed a aquota unit. You just can't believe every thing you watch on t.v.

Dont know anything about the guy personally,I was just glad the show was done tastefully and didn't portray the sport to the public in a negative light. We could all sure use a little positive time in the spotlight! Even if it sounds like the guy is not quite the saint he portrayed himself as.

Is it Boone Smith that you are taliking about, the host? I saw the show too and enjoyed it. He has done a couple lion episodes on NGTV. There was another guy with hounds on the show, they never did say his name, or I didn't catch it.

The guy is a hypocritical narcissist who is making money from an anti-hunting media organization (National Geographic) one day, and intentionally overrunning a lion quota the next to personally kill yet another lion. As a houndsman, I wish he would not refer to himself as such because I don't want to be lumped in a category with him.

Watched it on youtube. Didn't see anything that was anti hound hunting, or anti hunting. Actually, the hound hunting parts, if anything, made hound hunters look good. The guy's buddy, the owner of the hounds, was shown in a very positive light. The host of the show is Casey Anderson.
