I will make this short and sweet. My wife came home today from where she works at the Safeway grocery. And she said to me, even the person that works there at the bottom of the totem pole. You know, the poor one that bags your groceries takes them out to the car and brings the shopping carts back into the store. You know the ones I'm talking about the little guys! Even they were saying, they have noticed that their paychecks are a few dollars short. I guess now that the lying SOB isn't campaigning. It doesn't make any difference if taxes go up. How's this work'n out for you all???? And the ass hole is making gun control high on his priority list. Sounds a little like Obama care during the first term, doesn't it????? Oh well, let's all put our heads in the sand, and let our asses get sunburned again. And pretend nothing really happened at all. Have a good day!

Willie, I talked to a friend of mine and he said social security deduction just went back up to like 6.5% ?? from when obama cut SS for the "stimulus package"..I'm not sure if these paycheck cuts had to do with taxes ??

Mondo is right. Everyone's paycheck will be going down because the payroll tax is going back up to what it was before the "stimulus". It's is about 1.5%, so just subtract that from any raise you may have gotten. Also, payroll tax is on gross wages, not taxable income. So if say your health insurance went up you still get taxed on the gross. It's a nice little double whammy on most people. It's pretty sweet when a guy gets a slight pay raise and then gets less in take home pay. Ain't this New America Great.

That is exactly what i noticed with my SS I was paying 102 every 2 weeks for SS now im paying 164 every 2 weeks.

Be patient, be patient. Continue to watch your paycheck. Also watch other things around you. Flu shots .75 cents for Obama care? Those of you fortunate enough to have health care provided to you from your companies that you work for. Watch the deductions in your paycheck and watch what will be required to cover your dependents. . And although they continue to piss down your back and try to convince you that it is only rain . I guess you all will have to make up your own mind. No taxes for people making under $250,000 My main concern is jobs you were told! First-term spent most of his time with Obama care. Cramed it down our throats. Second term appears to be gun control getting ready to be crammed down our throats. But always remember watch your household budget, and your paycheck because the biggest joke is no taxes for people making less than 250,000 If you have bought into this the joke is on you The Social Security is what he wanted you to notice, going back to where was and accepting it. My paycheck is just how I expected it. He didnt raise taxes on people making less than $250,000. The tax cuts imposed by George bush expired and taxes went right back to where they was before the tax breaks. I personally have no problem with this. Everbody has to pay there fair share!

That is the mentality the government loves. Anyone making over 250,000 on the gross is hit hard by the tax. However, it doesn't take a very big business to GROSS over that. The guys that work for me are long overdue for a raise but guess what most of them supported the tax. There probably wont be any raises in the near future. The tax on the so called rich will have an effect on YOU in some form or another!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess your definition of fair is different than mine. I'm not a fan of paying 35% (when its all tallied up) of my gross wages so some nitwit can squander it. And by the way it looks that isn't even enough. So what do you think is too much and which union are you a part of?

I was beginning to think that you all wouldn't say shit if you had a mouthful. Thank you. And you know, I sincerely wondered if there really is a shortage of flu shots. You know how the old saying goes, tell somebody they can't have something. And you will have to fight them off with a gun from trying to get it. And when they're getting $.75 per flu shot for Obama care. You can bet your ass that the name of the game is sell, sell, sell. And remember, never let a tragedy go to waste. And if there isn't a tragedy make one up. I wonder if the flu really is as bad as they say this this year. Glad some of you know that the whole pack of them are a bunch of scum.
