Call me crazy or whatever i just wanted to see if anyone else in washington seeing any wolfs. i know they have released some through out the state and so far ive had no problems but this year ive been seeing tracks up around 3000 feet in elevation that are no doubt wolf tracks following a elk heard. last year i seen two black long hair dogs with silver on their chest scream across the road and they were twice the size of my hounds. i knew what i seen but kept telling myself someone probly dropped off their hybrid they no longer could take care of. like i said call me crazy just wanted to see if anyone else has seen anything yet. im located in randle by mt st helens area.

All the time in NCW! Cut their tracks probably three times as much as a lions. Had one hunt a few weeks ago where I had hunted all day till dark and was working my way home and cut a lion track which ended up being a female with some full sized kittens. Was from the night before so my two dogs didn't open and got out a couple hundred yards before a pup in the box barked a few times and made a couple start howling. Got my dogs back in and ripped around to the next road to try and see em in the light. Seen where their was two that ran across the road eight hundred yards from the direction my dogs were going. Kinda a sketchy deal. First time I heard one around my dogs. I wasn't into it at all!! We've got nine permits to fill here on the Rez by February though.
