Rockaway Beach area

Anyone ever hunt around the Rockaway Beach area? My buddies working down that way and thought I would go visit but am going to bring the dogs if the area is ok to run in. No locked gates, roadless, etc...-

I really don't know the country but that coastal range is a unique experience. Tell us how it turns out!
