Both my brother and I wrestled. I stopped at high school my brother wrestled through college and trained in Colorado for the Olympic team, which he didn't make.

I wrestled til high school, even practiced with the tem in high school but never competed. My junior year our heavyweight took second in state and I moped his ass all over the mat in practice. I always took the winters off to chase woman ( one specifically ). Muck & Mark, I was chasing woman while you two were checking each others oil......... . On a serious note I have nothing but respect for guys that know the discipline and sacrifice needed to be successful at it. These tend to be the Guys that have no quit in them in whatever they do.

wrestling sucked and it was fun. come almost time for.state daily doubles started. practice before school.and after. cutting weight and starving. then goimg home and watching ur dad eat dinner and drink fluids when.he knew that u couldnt do either till.weigh ins. then he would have the nerve to ask. whats your problem. sob im hungry

Muck you summed it up! I never qualified for state, took a couple state champs to their backs however. Wrestling changed my life, before high school I was a sheltered, naive kid. It taught me hard work pays off, even if your the weak link the others will pick you up and help you.
