Sister, sunny & sam with a nice yellow cr. tom.

A big tom caught on the warner ranch. My daughter & I caught this 1 also.

sunny, sam & bess. With the same tom.

My sons first cat that he took. 1 shot, a nice tom.

Two big toms in the same week, this 1 ended on the ground with sunny, sam & bess.
Had alot of fun getting these pic's. This is the first season my daughter has been able to hunt with me solo, she is fitting right in. Its hard to believe these dogs were born less than 2 years ago, something went right. hope you enjoy. John.

Congradulations John, those are some very precious photos. The Warner family is an old time hound family in the Powers area. Believe you must be a throw back to your grandfather & great grandfather. Don/t think your dad or uncles were ever very interested in the hounds? Hope you got my PM about the area with traps & etc to avoid. AL

Thanks for the replies guy's. My daughter turned 4 in november, since then she has been stuck to my side. She love's those dogs, and has convinced herself those are all her dogs and I am just the trainer. She make's a convincing argument. She gets alot of dad time, with her 2 brothers in school.
Thomas, bess is the female you took to when you were here. She is a cousin to my males and 1 month older. She has a great bark and pulls her weight on track, but still shy at the tree. Sunny and Sam are well rounded for young dogs and getting the job done, the tom in the second and 3rd pic, took off like a shot bayed and fought all the way to the tree crossing about a half dozen fence line's before they forced him up. Then it took me more than an hour to get there, they held the tree the entire time like veterans . These 3 are the only dogs I have now except old talker(retired) and a couple 5 month old pups. I sold my lead dog. And committed to just these 3 about 3 weeks ago. So far they are up to it. Being young dogs most tracks we start are hotter tracks and their striking game needs improvement but really not much to complain about for 21-22 month old dogs. It's hard not to really brag these dogs up, you all know how much work has went into them already. Some day's I feel like I am training kids and dogs which is great. I am a lucky man. Thank you. John.
Another pic of my youngest son and my daughter. Old Talker had just turned 15, I let him off the chain to stretch his legs and go beller around. An hour later I could hear him tree'd, upon inspection he had put a cat up not 300 yards from my folks house. You never know when a camera will be needed. John.

John, super young dogs, and I love the ones I have that came from U. Keep that young family involved and off the streets. One day they will be bringing home photos to U instead of the other way around.

Thanks Guy's. Lately I have got the mind frame that I would rather catch 1 cat with the kids, than 3 without. Hunting with 1 to 3 kids in the rig is a challenge in itself, let alone getting them to the tree. But I have a feeling it wont be long and I will be the slow 1. Happy hunting everyone. John.
