Good State to Hunt

I was just wondering what a good state and area in a state would be to run bears and lions. I live in Wyoming and really want to go chase bears for a week but not to sure where to go. I heard the area around Vernal, Utah is good. I don't really care about killing anything just running the dogs and I heard a pursuit permit in Utah is fairly cheap. I would like to chase some cats also but just bears would be fine to. Any info on this would be awesome. Thanks!

Yeah I just got a four year old leopard cur out of California for a really good deal because everybody is selling there dogs. Bad deal there or I would love to go hunt California but I guess I'm a year or two late on that.

Hopefully. We can get it turned. Around. But it is going to take all hunting groups not just houndsmen

The Area around Vernal is a good place to hunt, only problem is there is a ton of compitetion, if you didn't mind traveling a little ways, the lasals and san juan are just as good if not better units than the book cliffs or diamond.

I have seen what the book cliffs or diamond have down there. My buddy runs during the week when no one else is out there and has had great success.
