Maybe, this has been posted before but I had never heard of it until yesterday and thought I would pass on the recipe.
Satin Balls
To put rapid weight gain on emaciated dogs.
10 lbs of raw hamburger (70/30 )
18 oz's multi grain cereal
2 lbs Quaker oats (un-cooked )
1 bottle of wheat germ ( 20 oz )
1 cup cod liver oil
1 cup un-sulphured molasses
10 hard boiled eggs plus the shells crushed and minced
10 envelopes of unflavored gelatin
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp minced garlic
Put it all in a bowl and mix together, then ball into 1 lb increments for daily feeding. Freeze separately. There should be enough for two weeks of feeding.
Sounded good to me.
