I’m making some new Cat stretcher’s and thought I would send a new built one up to the Cat Hunters gathering in Oregon. My idea was to have all the attendees sign it with permanent marker. Years from now it will make a great hound hunter’s collectible item. My stretchers are made of light colored wood so the ink should stand out and should easily hold over hundred plus signatures on front and back.
I was thinking it would help JC and whoever else is involved offset some of the cost to have this gathering. Maybe it could be raffled off after everyone has shown up and had a chance to sign it. If this sounds good let me know and I will mail it to whoever can get it there. I have plans on attending but just in case I don’t make it I know it will be there. JC since you got this gathering going let me know if you want me to do this, or is it not something you’re interested in.

Here is the bobcat stretcher that will be raffled off at the gathering. I hope its filled with attendees signatures from many different states that attended this very unique event! I never claimed to be an artist or have much for penmanship so don't laugh too much.

If you get the time and money, cut out a solid one piece stretcher too. I know they are harder to actually use, but I doubt folks will be putting a lot of hides on these. I can fit everything I own in two pickup trucks, but If I could own a nice smooth solid wood stretcher with those signatures on it, I would get rid of my lap-top to make room for it if I had to. Instead of a cat's face, on this one you can put a line of cat tracks that disappear into thin air like they always do for me.

I mailed it out today via USPS snail mail. The lady at the post office said it should be there by next Thursday.

It's looking more like i'm going to get to make this gathering. Looking forward to meeting y'all face to face.
