Cat Hunters Gathering

J.C.
Since you got this ball rolling along and CRA made the suggestion to donate a stretcher board got me to thinking about what a prized possession this will be for some lucky person who can out bid the next guy....I suspect this could yield some good money and rightfully so.

Here is where I'm going with this. I think it would be great for every single cat hunter to own his or her very own signature copy from all the attendees. An event of this magnitude has never happened before the internet that makes this possible....

I have possibly the coolest poster of a treed cat, it is 20"x30" and would love to see every single attendee receive one that wants one. Here is the catch, All must agree to sign each poster and a cost is 9.00 each to print and I was thinking about placing a pre order so one or more could be reserved at say 20 or 25 bucks each with proceeds going to defray cost of the gathering, the balance donated to OOC or OUSDA or possibly split between them to continue to support our fight to defend our hunting heritage.

Lets hear some feed back. Thanks, Mike

Haha.....
I sent a picture of the poster to C. John Clay to get his input and We will make sure Willy gets his very own copy. This is going to be huge and I think it will be awesome for all to have.
Here is a thought, maybe Willy can be a "Boxcar" Willy and attend! oooh....He will kick my butt for sure now! :P

Mike, I love the idea, and would also like to buy one.

but... I dont know how you are going to convince an 80 year old bobcat hunter to stand around signing a few dozen posters or more. Not sure if even a 57 year old beginner would get too excited about that. Is there a way to get one master poster with all the signatures on it re-produced? Just a thought. Trying to envision how it all would really happen.

I could see maybe getting everyone to sign maybe three of them, but even that sounds like a monumental achievement with a large group of hard headed independent cat hunters. Maybe 3 originals auctioned off and orders taken for a copys of one of them?

Don

Always good to see you too!

David

Great idea  You are right. Maybe if J.C. will let me know what he thinks about auctioning off a few and replicating the rest? We can make a decision. I like the idea of defraying the cost first for the gathering and this can and will help and if any dollars are left over, I would like to donate to a cause voted on by those at the gathering. I will donate three posters for the auction.

Thanks Guys!

Mike

Thanks J.C.

Folks, we have a plan to bring three printed posters to have signed and raffled at the gathering. Proceeds will go to offset the cost of the event and while at the gathering, you can look at one of the posters and see how well you like it and simply place your order at the time of the event. Like David was saying, to have fifty signed is probably not possible, I will take the orders and send yours by mail to your address after the gathering.

Thanks

Mike
