fast sucking in of air, fast inhailing through nose

it comes on in a attack that last several minutes then passes. This is not happening to my hound but a friends doberman. I just worry about it being catchy. Ive kept my hound away. I have never seen anything like it...

Sounds to me like 'backwards sneezing' or that's how the Vet described it to me... Could just had a tickle or an allergy. Don't sound like kennel cough to me...

Good to see ya back Redwood Coonhounds! Thats what it sounds like to me as well. Its sounds worse than it is...

Yep, backwards or reverse sneezing. Our beagles do it a lot.

Thanks all for the info...... like I said above it sounds worse than it is luckly my walker seem to not do it :D
