i have 2 pups that are almost 4 months old now. i havnt had to kennel them because they would stay around the house and i have a 2 acre yard but now they go futher into the fields but they always come home. is this good or do i need to fence them in now? what can i do to keep them from goin on to the highway.. im a first timer with coondogs

You are going to have to start kenneling them or chaining them up.

I agree. Put them up or you will lose them .

You have done the best thing you can for two young pups let them run and explore. But like was mentioned earlier you are going to have to put them on lock down now or risk the chance of losing them. Unless you have a very close eye on them.

Let them run around separately (one contained). Inevitably you will need to contain them both.
