Astro DC40 Covers from DU

Anyone using these covers? Know if they'll fit an Alpha Collar?

They fit, but you'll see about a 1/4 inch of the bottom of the collar. I haven't decided if it's worth me creating a new mold for the 50's and TT10 collars since they pretty much cover up the device.

My main concern was covering the charging contacts since I read there were people having trouble with the collars shutting down due to them being exposed.

Yes they will cover the charging ports.

I wrap mine with electrical tape and take it off as soon as I'm done...anyone know if thats a bad thing to do? I have the old 30's and hate digging the mud and seeds out of them, also protects the plastic lip a bit or so I'm hoping.
