Hi guys. Looking for your 2 cents worth. I have a female treeing walker. She is 13 months old. A couple days ago when I came home from work I noticed that my female some how broke through her dog house and got in with my male walker. She just happen to be starting her first heat cycle. I never saw him stuck her but he was sniffing aruond her pretty hard and she was just standing there. no idea how long they were together so possibly long enoujgh for her to get bred. My question for you guys..do you think she would be to young to have puppies if she is bred. Not for sure if she is or not. She is a bigger female and appears to be full grown. So i am guessing her body can handle puppies..not sure if there would be other effects of having puppies so young i need to think about. Also has anyone ever heard or done any type of pregnancy stopping shots or pills at all. I have heard of a shot called a mis mate shot, but I have heard many bad side effects from this. I do not want to get her spayed like i read all over the interent she is a great dog and would love to bread her in the future..just not sure if its a little young right now...Any thoughts suggestions info you can give would be awesome. Thank you
