Thought it was about time I introduced my self on the forum.
I'm a hound loving guy with high hopes of importing US big game hounds to Norway one day.
Realy learning a lot from this forum. - Thanks!
Now I have two hounds. One 3 year old beagle, that will run anything, but are mostly used for roedeer and red fox. The other one is a 5 year old great sweedish elkhound(She will also run anything from squirrels to moose...)

My big game predatorhunting until now has mostly been for lynx, but bearhunting in Sweden next fall is already arranged. My(hopefully) future hounds will also be used for wolverine.

During summer I guide salomon fishermen in this river(pic below), that is lokated 100 yards from my house, so if any of you want to catch an atlantic salomon, just contact me and I'll arrange it.

My hunting team average on 1 -3 each year.
The number could be higher, but the traditional way of hunting as we do it now, is insanely time consuming  and there are a lot of hunters after the small number of lynx's allowed to kill.
Lynx hunting is under strickt govermental control, bacause of what they call low number of animals.
This year we started using hounds and we saw the benefits right from the start. It will make us a lot more efficient, making us able to take out more animals and even better, the right animals(Toms).

I'm living as close to the middle of Norway as you can get. About 140 miles north of the city Trondheim.
Great that you from the US come to see where you're ancestores came from. 4 years ago I had family from Seattle here wissiting me. They loved it, but just so you know Norway - USA, a whole lot of difference....
I just might take that offer. Tons of stuff that is common over there is impossible to get here.....
