Please keep NCTA club member DJ and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they work to put their lives back together after losing their house and most all of their belongings to the recent Paradise (Humboldt) fire. Fortunately all family members and animals were evacuated safely.

OMG If you talk to him please tell him Bobbie and I are so sorry.If there is anything we can do(some money or something) let us know.

I was hoping Tiny would answer you since he's talked to DJ a few times over the past week. I've just seen video of DJ's property on the news.
I believe DJ and his family are living in a motorhome right now. Not sure when they'll be able to rebuild. I think what Tiny told me is that his house was burned down by a back fire that was set and then went the wrong way. Understandably, they're trying to deal with the loss of a lot of sentimental and irreplaceable things but I guess insurance and maybe some other kind of compensation will eventually take care of all the replaceable things.

If Tiny talks to them,I know its a long way but I could put his horses up no charge.

THE JOHNSON FAMILY IS DOING AS GOOD AS EXPECTED, LIKE CHAWN SAID, CAL FIRE DOZER UNIT LIT A BACK FIRE TO TRY TO STOP THE FIRE THAT WAS APPROCHING, THEN WITH HIGH WINDS EVERYTHING WENT REAL WRONG! NO TIME TO GATHER MOST ITEMS & MOST WAS LOST. HOUNDS AND HORSES ARE FINE A FEW OTHER ITEMS. DJ MIGHT MAKE IT DOWN THIS WEEKEND TO VISIT. THANKS TO EVERYONES CONCERN.
