How many were capable or able of hunting multi packs? I sure was never blessed to be able to have enough broke true cat dogs at one time to have multi packs hunting at the same time or the time or ability or no how to make that many cat hounds at one time. Lets hear what you guys have to say on this. Andy

Was not unusual for some here to hunt two different packs. Those who pulled a trailer to the woods for winter & hunt every day at least had to rotate dogs in the pack to rest dogs on different days. I was not one of them, never had the free time, those guys were just tough & know one in his seventies who still does so at times. But time catches up to all. Al

Define a pack... 1-3 dogs...3-5 dogs.....over 5 If you have 4 do it all cat dogs and split them up and put 2 young dogs, pups with each one would that be considered 4 packs? I think you see what im getting at. That sure takes a lot of wear out of the do it all dogs and lets the you g dogs get good experience.

You qualify Mark. I would call a pack at least 3 dogs. We just dont have the cat population in this area to keep multi packs busy either. Keep the info coming. Andy
