The spark!

Post by Cat walker »

The newest addition to my pack is about 6 months old. Had him on a 8 hr old cat track yesterday and to my supriese he opened up on the track which he's never done before. Ive done a little cage work with him on coon but this was his first time on a cat track. He pays more attention to the track where my other male "who ive posted about recently" tends to nose the track then drift from side to side which as you guys know isn't the best for cats. This week I'm going to take just the pup by himself. My reason for this post is that I've never had a dog who has been so meticulous, for lack of a better word, right out of the gate. I was wondering what everyones experience is with dogs who show this behavior when the spark is lit and what these dogs tend to become.

Thanks Cat walker

They only get better with age and more exposure. Will take early starters any day. At that age keep hunting them with older expetienced dogs they learn what they see. Andy
