What things do you guys think is best to spend your profits on after the season? I've thought about fixing up my rig, new fancy shiny collars, food, gas money stash, etc. Basically just a hunting funds only account. Realistically it will all be blown and I'll blame everyone else like its their fault when my debit card is declined at the bar.

Surely you are not saying that hounds are costing you more money than they make!! LMAO
Add a few mules and it will only get better!!! Even better you can live where you have to travel long distances to hunt!! Gas and diesel are cheap!! Sorry for my sarcasm.
If you have made a profit and like what you are doing re-invest it to what you want to do!

If you turned an actual profit bobcat hunting, I would say definitely take it to the casino. You will make a profit there too. Then when your wife and family and home are all gone, you and your dogs can go make some more profit on bobcat hunting. Just kidding. I know there really is nothing like a big fat fur check, even if the profit thing is an illusion. It is fun and you only live once.

Ya Rez, i was funnin with ya too. The way i always looked at it was that i was hunting no matter what and any money from furs was just a bonus. Not many hobbies that at least pay back a little. I f you are married think about splitting it with her, it will be the best dividends you you could possibly hope for. ( just a suggestion ) Anyhow have fun with it no matter how you spend it!

Wow, now there is a smart man. All you young bobcat hunters take notes and never forget the advice of ol Mark and Rez. These guys have figured something out. That right there is worth a million bucks in your bobcat hunting bank. You will out-hunt a lot of us that were not nearly so smart.

David, my advice to Rez came the hard way. All my money and half the house lol. Oh ya i had to get rid of the dogs to keep the house. The whole fur check would of been alot cheaper and whole lot easier.
Do you know why divorces are so expensive?
Because they're worth it!
Just kidding but on a serious note dont let dogs be a priority in front of family

Happy wife happy life!!!!!! I say buy you one thing you want then use the rest to buy things she wants, but don't give her the cash cause women are way more realistic, and responsible and she will waste it on bills:) win win situation!

I like that "happy wife/happy life"
When I saw RezDog's idea I could just see his wife next fur season putting her feet on his back side and shoving him out of bed saying "the cats are moving, get your butt out of bed and go get me one. Dont come back till you have another bobcat for me." And Rez is groaning "but I hate bobcat hunting. Well OK one more cat for you...because you know I will make the sacrifice to keep you happy."
