I know in the bucking stock some top notch bulls are being produced by cloning. I was curious if anyone had done this or had considered it. I would love for Shorty Gorham to chime in here too. I cant remember the bulls names but I seen them at the Pendleton, Oregon PRCA rodeo last fall. 3 of them, all colored the same basically and bucked hard! I just wonder if we could get the same in our dogs ?

Believe the bulls you are refering to were Panhandle Slim clones.
there were 6of them---4 made it into the PBR that I know of one was named Another One
a couple of the others had Slim in their name.. at any rate that happened because the fellow that bought Panhandle Slim had paid a good amount if cash for him and when his health was declining fast, he had him cloned... 2 of the 6 were so mean that they could not be used--- The ABBI does not recognize the cloning and would not register them....
Shorty might be able to ad some more to this!
at any rate,in trials with other animals, it has been found that the colons are a little less than exactly like the "parent".. But if you have the Cash to try it I would sure like to know how it works with Hounds!

I do believe that's the right name. These bulls were white with black speckles. I'm pretty sure that's right because a friend has some bred that way. I know there's got to be someone whose got the money whose tried this. Just curious of results. I'll never have the money to do it myself.
