Who out there is running plott walker crosses? And what bloodlines are u using in your breeding

I just happen to be reading through and saw this post. I got a dog last year that is a plott walker cross. The walker side is supposedly from Topper Again but theres nothing to back that up other than someone saying it and the dam was a plott here in northern NM. She was never really hunted before I got her but she is doing outstanding! She has an awesome temperament and what seems to be a better than medium nose. Kind of a funny sounding bark but I dig it. Great feet also. Just a little info for ya, hope this helps.

The one on the tree is 1/2 walker, 1/4 Plott, 1/4 bluetick. At 8 months she is an incredible dog. I would make the cross again but both of her parents are dead. I don't know what the breeding is on the Plott and bluetick side. She is a great granddaughter of Loose Bruce on the walker side.

this is one of my pups used on hogs and yotes and the occasional tree game . 1/2 pochahantis plot 1/4 house bred walker 1/4 Catahoula cur . exceptional bottom and grit for days .

a month ago I picked up a walker/plott mix and she is a dandy. She has a good nose and doesn't say a word on the track until she knows it's going. The only down fall or I should say down fall for me, is she is a bear striking machine. I want to run only cats and she does that too but she wil work a bear real quick. I got my other dogs off of bear so she is the only one that wil run them and I don't like one dog running bears. In this dry ground running is where it is hard because when she strikes, I am not sure what it is so when she stikes, I put the other dogs down and if they go we are on a cat. If not I leave Rose on the rig. Anyway, long winded for a short answer. Good luck out there.

I have a dollins plott and walker/running dog not sure which, possibly trigg. He runs fox and coon he turned two at the end of may and started treeing fox on his own in late february. Tight mouth on a fox usually doesnt open till its jumped, and doesnt open on coon until they are treed. Hes not the best by any means but he handles really well and he trees game. Not a super strong tree dog have not made it too a few trees cause he didnt stay long enough for me to get there. But overall he does a good job especially him being my first hound, wouldnt mind having another like him
