TO BRAG OR NOT TO BRAG ?

Some of the comments the guys have made got me to thinking about these events that happened many years ago when i was about 15 years old.They're kinda funny now but i didn't think so at the time.My dad and i were going hunting with some friends.I was sitting in their truck and dad was parked in front if us.The talk turned to mean dogs and i immediately began to tell them about our 2 walkers,Jack and Twister .They were really good natured and they didn't bark ,growl or fight.Well,i had barely quit bragging on them when they locked up in the box like they were trying to kill each other. I was speechless! A few months later i was hunting with these same guys .I had ole Rock that night,he was a B&T .We struck a track and the dogs treed just off an old road.On the way to the tree we started discussing tree dogs and i started talking.Ole Rock was a tree dog if there ever was one . A lock down,stay put,pull pressure TREE DOG!I had seen dogs backtrack off the tree,run deer all around his tree,alligators try to run him off .He always stayed treed.Well,you've probably guessed by now,as we near the tree here comes a lame brain ,knot headed black and tan off the tree .I learned my lesson that time and that is NOT TO BRAG!
