My fellow Americans and citizens of the great state of Connecticut,
I want to have a heart to heart with the law enforcement personnel of Connecticut.
I believe most of you, are of good nature, and have pure hearts.
I know most of you, are just like myself. Married, with a family, and working hard to provide for them. In the best way possible. On the grind, from day to day. I know most of you will refuse unconstitutional orders. You are not who I am addressing.
I am addressing those on the fence. Who have failed to choose a side.
Your job is tough.
Tougher than what most people can fathom. You deal with the worst, on a regular basis. I can relate. During a time in my life, I had a job as well dealing with the worst of the worst, on a regular basis. That too, required an oath.
But we must not forget, why we volunteered for these jobs.
Because at one point in our lives, we wanted to be the good guy. To protect and serve. Our communities and our Republic. We swore an oath, to uphold the Bill of Rights. We swore, to protect the American people from tyranny.
Sometimes in far away nations, or in our very own backyard. We became Oath Keepers, by default. Everyone does. Unfortunately, some individuals forget their oath to the American people. Forget the meaning behind it. It becomes to them, nothing more than a paper oath. They, become Oath Breakers.
I do not believe you have forgotten your oath, nor have your spouses and children. Who pray for your safe return to them, after they watch you put on your uniform and duty belt. Before the start of your shift. As do I. I can also speak on behalf of the Oath Keepers, and say as an organization, we all do.
Sadly, your superiors do not.
To them, you are employees, or even worse. Their subject. You are not loved, as we love you. Or your friends and family love you. That is why they use you, to threaten the good people of Connecticut.
I know of which, the majority of you wish not to take part in. Well, recently, your governor Dannel Malloy; and the Under Secretary of Connecticut Mike Lawlor. Have taken it upon themselves, to threaten the citizenry of Connecticut, with a violent and forced disarmament. They both are asking all of you, to arrest or kill your fellow Americans. Who failed to register their so called “assault weapons”.
Do you feel in your heart this is just? They both, have put you in a horrible position. They are asking you, to use violence or the threat of, to forcibly disarm your brothers and sisters. Are you willing to do this?
Are you willing to kick down someones door, with no knock warrants, and point your rifles at women and children? To simply seize a rifle, or two? What if someone thinks you are there to rob their families, or rape their wives or children? They most certainly will use force as a means of self defense.
What about the hundreds of thousands of patriots who will refuse to surrender their firearms to you? Or the ones who decide to fight back? Who outnumber you about four hundred to one, and that is a very conservative estimate. Not to mention the ones who will pour in from neighboring states to help their brothers and sister in arms. Are you planning on arresting or killing all of them as well?
How long will this unholy mission take? Do you have enough support from your peers? Or will they turn on you as well? Because I guarantee you, that fifty percent of them, take zero issue with the citizens of Connecticut owning unregistered semi-automatic rifles and pistols. With high capacity magazines. Nor will they help you disarm the citizenry.
These are a lot of questions that need to be answered. But the most important one is, is one rifle worth your life? Let us all be adults here, I am not advocating violence, nor do I desire to see this be the start of a civil war. But if you think for one moment rounds won’t be shot, and lives taken, on both sides. You have divorced yourself from reality.
This can all be avoided. The American people have your six. All we ask you to do, is honor your oath, and refuse these unconstitutional orders.
Because I will tell you this sir or ma’am, I will have your back, so will millions of other Americans. If you choose to do the right thing.
And I guarantee you, that Governor Malloy and Under Secretary Lawlor will not be in your four man stack. They will not be in the APC. They will not even be in a squad car. They will not be getting return fire.
So is it going to be worth it? Fighting for a king and his jester? Or will you choose to fight for us? By not fighting at all, and refusing to take part in an un-winnable battle against your fellow Americans.
We won’t take the first shot, but we will stand our ground. Just as the colonists did against the British, at Concord.
The patriots are ready to rise, and we will win. Again.
Sincerely,
Robert Hase

Felony Friday: CT Officials Create More Than A Quarter Million Felons Overnight
Imagine you peer into the mailbox and notice a letter from the Connecticut State Police.
You quickly rip it open and begin to carefully read what appears to be a list of demands. The letter makes it abundantly clear that the required application for an assault weapon was not received in time to meet the January 1st deadline in accordance with the new state law. Your heart skips a beat. The consequences of disobeying this law are a class D felony. You have become a felon overnight!
The above scenario was a reality for more than two hundred people in Connecticut this past week. If they refuse to comply with the demands laid out on the piece of paper, then the State could forcibly confiscate their “assault” weapon or “large capacity” magazine and throw them in jail.
Refusal to comply with the new gun-control law, Public Act 13-220, could result in tens of thousands of Connecticut residents being charged with felonies. Out of around three hundred seventy thousand owners of assault weapons only around forty eight thousand permit applications were received prior to the deadline.
The state has not begun to deal with those that did not bother to even send an application. The first threats were sent to those that tried to comply, but were tardy with their correspondence.

On April 19th, 1775, local law enforcement tried to confiscate the guns of the American people. This led to the Battles of Lexington and Concord, which the Americans won, and set the stage for the revolution, which the Americans also won.
Dear Connecticut. That's a hint!
