ok a friend of mine was telling me he is having issues with his 320. he says he does the normal start new hunt and such and everything works good for about 20 min, then it scatters tracks all over the map then looses connection with the collar. does anyone have any idea what might cause this?

Sounds like a deer chase....From your description, the dogs will go a while and bump some deer or elk or moose and turn on a hellish trash race. That is the only time I have had my Astro "scatter tracks all over the map" and shortly after that, they leave the country hot on a moose and I soon after "loose connection with the collars".
Sorry, just giving you a hard time. I have never had that type of experience with my Astro before. What type of communication is he loosing? GPS or Comm? Could you be a little more specific about the track problem as well?

hAHAHAH FUNNY thing is schiemer they are actually deer dogs hahah
but it plots miles of track instantaneoulsy, no dog on the planet could go that far that fast.
but on a seriouse note it plots tracks everywhere on the map screen then looses comm with that one particular colar.
he has other collars that work fine all the time, just the one that freaks out

Are you running DC50's, Try to update your 320 software.
it wouldn't hurt to update your collars also and see if that helps.

He might be zoomed way in on the map and then the collar would look like it's bouncing around some. Hard to say with seeing it or allot more detail.
If he can download the tracks to a computer and send them to me I would be happy to take a look at them
