How far can astro 320 reach? No signal can detect the coallr

hello
I did a test.
left dc50 collar and bring astro320 more than 40km from the collar.
still detect the collar.
it that a true?
and why no signal still display the exact distance?
every feedback will be appreciate!

My guess is that it is only showing the distance from where the last signal was picked up, not the distance to where the collar is now.

yes I think so
but I changed the position and twisted the astro320
it seems like still remembered the position of the dc50 collar.

On your 320 go to the dog's name (where it says dog on the 320) that the collar is assigned to, then hit enter. Where it shows Comm. (communication) if that is black instead of green it may seem like the collar is tracking but it is not. Comm must be green for the collar to be tracking. I bet it is black.
