Went for a quick run this morning before getting some work done, Gracie has a flat and Polar is in heat so it was only a 4 dog cast. For maybe the second time since I don't know when there was a hare setting on the trail waiting for us!!!!! Condition's are bone dry, sounds like walking on gravel in the pine plantation's. We were really missing Gracie when the hare started running the roads. Plus side of thing were I seen were a deer came out and ran the road up to my truck before wheeling off, young Busted (1 year old) who has never been broke off deer would not even wag on it!!!

Budd, enjoyed seeing the little hounds. I have 2 that I have neglected lately messing with my big dogs but I took them out this afternoon. It came a little shower about 4pm so when I got through working I took them about a mile from home and it hadn't rained any there. It took about an hour befor they rooted one out but they finally got it going. They too had a hard time each time they crossed the road,they followed it around for about an hour, I caught them right before dark. Couldn't really get under it and run it but it was about 90degrees, dry and the first time I've had them out in 2or 3 months. Going to try and get them out one morning when there's dew so they can run one right.
